The game tells you which Pokémon title the map comes from. Identify the exact location as quickly as possible.
Your score is your total time. ZOOM OUT can be used once per round: it adds 10.0 seconds and jumps straight to the furthest zoom-out level. A wrong locked-in answer adds 30.0 seconds and ends that round. SKIP also adds 30.0 seconds, reveals nothing, and immediately moves to the next round.
When you press START, all 10 selected maps are preloaded first. The game timer only starts after Round 1 is fully displayed, so loading time never affects your result.
For multi-floor landmarks, you only need the generic place name. For example, any Silph Co. floor is answered as Silph Co., and any Goldenrod Radio Tower floor is simply Goldenrod Radio Tower.
The bank contains exactly 450 map variants across FireRed, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Platinum and HeartGold/SoulSilver. Before a round starts, the clue guard automatically checks several possible crops and prefers the one with the most visual information. Repetitive terrain such as open water and cave floors gets a gentler maximum zoom. Crop quality is handled entirely by the game. The crop search now explores roughly 15%-85% of the full map instead of favouring the centre.
